In the video below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients performing a two point stability single arm row. This is a great variation on the traditional single arm row because it requires the individual to stabilise their shoulder girdle and torso through two points of contact (hand and leg). One must work hard to maintain a stable trunk position that is parallel to the ground whilst also stabilising through the glenohumeral joint and scapular on the grounded hand.

For those of you who are thinking they might add this to their exercise regime, please start with a load that is less than what you would normally perform a single arm row with due to the increased demand on the shoulder girdle and trunk.
