Asymmetrical Load Kettlebell Sumo and Suitcase Deadlift – An Osteopaths Perspective

In the image below you will see osteopath Matt Harris of Everythings Connected demonstrating a asymmetrical kettlebell load (one kettlebell is heavier than the other and therefore one must work hard to control this imbalance across the midline) with both a sumo stance (kettlebells placed between the legs) and suitcase (kettlebells either side of the body).  The sumo stance is a more hip dominant exercise compared to the suitcase which has more equal knee and hip contribution.  Both are excellent deadlift variations that I would recommend for those wishing to build strengthen through the whole body, especially those who are required to pick things up off the floor etc.
