At Principle Four Osteopathy we focus a large portion of our time with our clients on active interventions. The reason being is that we feel the value this brings to the client over time far outweighs the symptom based approaches. This is not to say we don’t do that either, but our goal is to move people from acute symptom management to self management. Usually this is in the form of movement.

In the images below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients who presented to the clinic seeking guidance on how to address some knee related issues. We initially assessed the client, provided self management strategies that included flexibility/mobility and exercise and have continued to progress this.

Program:
Some new additions and progressions to JL program
1. Hinge patterning with a plan to introduce loaded hinge
2. Banded crab walk for lateral hip
3. Plank with alternating leg lift for trunk stability whilst moving legs
4. Contralateral loaded split squat to challenger anterior leg and stability in frontal plane
