In the videos below you will see osteopath Nathan Burke practising a stick assisted hinge pattern, followed up with sumo stance deadlift and box squat.  The sumo stance deadlift and box squat both aim to load the hip more so that the knee as seen in the conventional deadlift and high bar back squat (more equal hip and knee contribution).
