Hip Mobility

The video below is of a client from Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating one of their lower limb mobility drills that they can perform prior to a lower limb training session.  The individual is required to step under the bar and then back which requires them to squat and step to the side.  The aim is to try and maintain as upright of a trunk as possible in order to focus the movement through the hip, knee and foot/ankle.

When starting out, start with a higher bar position and have the client progress by lowering the bar.
