The landmine press is probably one of my favourite press variations for those wishing to add some version of an overhead press into their training regime. Usually the landmine (torsonator) press is great for those who struggle with direct overhead pressing due to a lack of mobility (cannot simple get their hand overhead in a position that would mean its safe for pressing overhead) or they have a musculoskeletal complaint that means they are not yet ready for direct overhead pressing or the landmine press is a step towards overhead pressing.

For those of you who are looking to implement some overhead pressing into their program and or are struggling with an overhead press, the landmine press is probably a great place to start. If you are currently dealing with a shoulder complaint that is limiting your training and performance and you would like to find out where to start, make sure you touch base with us at Principle Four Osteopathy by calling 0396709290 or by booking online at www.principlefourosteopathy.com.
