Powerband Resisted Bent Over Barbell Row – An Osteopaths Perspective

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy performing a band resisted bent over row.  The bands have been placed around the barbell ends and underneath the power rack so that the resistance increases as one pulls the bar closer to their chest.  The resistance reduces as the bar moves closer to the ground and therefore maximum effort is required at the top of the horizontal pull phase.   This is a great variation on the traditional bent over barbell row due to the change in resistance compared to a fixed load placed on a barbell.
