Split Squat + Hip Flexor Stretch

In the video above you will see osteopath Heath Williams performing a split squat (rear foot placed on plyometric box) and starting from a kneeling position and moving to a lunge.  The vast majority of load is placed on the front leg.  This is also a great exercise as it also places a stretch on the rear leg hip flexor and quad.
