The Ideal Shoulder Warm Up Exercise Routine

Prior to any upper body training I will perform a series of lightly loaded or band resisted exercises that involve a range of movements and exercises to prepare them for heavier lifting. Usually these movements include a combination of pull based movements, rotation, abduction, flexion and fly based movements. My typical routine will be to select 3-4 exercises and perform 2 sets 12-15 reps. In the videos below you will see a few examples of these exercises
